Husband and Wife team seeks medium-sized, medium-energy, kid-friendly dog (or puppy that will grow into such) for a loving forever home. Activities would include walks in parks, playing in water at various dog beaches, and romping around at dog parks, so we would prefer a dog that has been well socialized! Our best friends are dog owners and our new comp...escue groups we've tried working with so far -- they're *so* overworked! We're excited about getting a dog but obviously don't want to rush the process either, but many of the rescue groups we've contacted cannot assure of us that a dog rescued from death row will be good around kids, or the dog is known to be mixed with a breed we cannot have (more on that below).
